There's a little trick you can use if hayfever is bothering you. In between your eyebrows, on or just a smidge above your brow ridge, is a small point that feels a bit weird if you find it with a (vertical) thumbnail. It's worth taking a few seconds to hunt for this. When you're getting the nose & eye irritation from hayfever, just rub gently up and down over this point with your thumbnail for about 20 seconds or so, and the symptoms should subside. The earlier you can catch them, the quicker it works, but don't overdo it, or your eyes will feel dry and scratchy. It works for any allergic rhinitis, and can even help a bit if you have a cold.
